Hi, Keo here!
Today we're uploading v0.7 build to itch.io, featuring:
- Continuation of Lake and Jørgen's routes, that's 9k words of new scenes
- New CG by hq
- New sprites with expressions for Lake and Jørgen
- A new redesigned sprite for Devon (you can tell us what you think about it in the survey, or here in the comments!)
- Minor rewrites and changes here and there
I hope you will enjoy this update ^^
It's been a long time since the last update here already - more than six weeks. That's due to the fact that we switched to one month of delay between Patreon and public builds to give us more uninterrupted time for development. So far it seems like it was a good idea, as the upcoming v0.8 update already has more than 15k words written - that's as much as December and January updates combined.
An update for Devon's route is already available to our €5+ patrons, and a new update featuring Devon and Klaus will be released for all patrons in a few days.

Jørgen is probably my favorite so far. So his route is one I've been looking forward to the most. Maybe it's just me, and I'm doing something wrong. But as I played through this update, I felt as though I wasn't really on Jørgen's route? I tried selecting everything that would keep me on that path, but I sort of felt like I was being steered in a different direction. So maybe my selections weren't right? Idk. But it was disappointing. Not that what I played wasn't good, it was very good and I enjoyed it all! I was just hoping for more Jørgen.
Lake and Jørgen share the same room, so the scene for the end of Day 1 was the same for them. I'm sorry if you felt like there was too much Lake and not enough Jørgen in there their routes will split in Day 2.
Oh, thank you for replying. No need to apologize! I wouldn't say there was too much Lake. I enjoy Lake quite a lot, too. I think it felt like the MC was gaining feelings for Lake and vice versa through that. But it makes sense now that I understand that their routes were paired together for Day 1! The MC already knows Lake and just met Jørgen. So it makes sense that his feelings would be different toward each character.
Awww man when is Mikko's route gonna be release? I really like him (of course the MC's childhood friend) :<
I' going against the grain here but I love New Devon, he seems more approachable. But really I think this is my most favourite update as Lake and Jørgen both make my little heart very happy!
Not that much against the grain as the comments would tell you, looking at the survey people are very divided over the topic, but slightly in favour of the new sprite so far.

Honestly not too much of a fan of the new Devon design. On it's own, it is a good design, but it just feels too unlike the Devon we've gotten used to (which feels weird to say since Mikko got a complete species change and I preferred his new look, so apparently my preferences have double standards). It might be the loss of his patterns, it could be that he looks fluffier now, but there's just something there that isn't Devon for me. But as I said, the design itself is good, and I would probably get used to it anyway
Lakes eyes look really off either he's stoned or dead inside can't make up my mind.

I think it's just you, I find him cute lol
I really liked the Old Devon sprite compared to the New Devon sprite. The new one makes him look too young since he is so fluffy now and has a lighter underbelly. Also the pose and jacket on the Old Devon sprite made him look more "Formidable" with his arms crossed.
That pose is coming back too, just wasn't ready yet for this update ^^
