Mikko is, pretty unique. It's something you can get in and feel cool and happy for Arvo and Mikko, but in the end, is something you can relate if you was in love with someone you never saw again in a long time.

TL:DR: The events of Dawn Chorus is actually a big flashback. Why? I'm not too sure. This one is a massive stretch, but with what is said, it's possible that any love interest that Arvo gets in is not actually permanent.
I was curious about the meaning of this VN, so after a little studying, I quickly realised that chance and time are big concepts in Dawn Chorus. Seeing Saturn will always occur, which also happens to symbolise time. Lets go through the opening intro:

As some people know, Arvo writes some poetry on his phone. You can see this near the end of Rune's day 4 where the both are on the bus returning from the city. And knowing that, I get the strong feeling that this was written either before the camp or after the camp.
"One moment I share with you, the next we're almost strangers." If Arvo written this before the camp, he could be referring to Mikko, but that only applies if Mikko's route is the canon ending, but I doubt that.

These quotes are said right after the intro, in Arvo's dream of winning the Nordic Street Photo Award. These refer to chance, and question whether if fate exists or not. On Lake's route, they question about reincarnation, a second chance, essentially. Jørgen responds with just being happy with your current life.
I'm still trying to get more info about all this, since I don't have a lot of evidence.
Lovely game, though I do have just one small complaint. I only played Rune's route so this may not be an issue with the others but the main character feels a bit too...predatorily forward I guess is the term? Just zero concept of personal space, constantly invites himself to other people's plans. And I feel like it's not very natural how Rune just goes along with all his advances, there would be alot of suspicion from his part early on realistically. I mean it'd be whatever if it was just another character, but I feel dirty playing as this guy.
It seems your device ran out of storage space. You should check your harddrives and see how much space you have left. Maybe try and delete some stuff you don't need anymore.

To be honest, I really think the main issue with the act is that it was poorly considered before being passed. Age restrictions on pornographic material is long overdue and undoubtedly required in order to protect the wellbeing of young people, but the blanket banning of anything vaguely NSFW is not the way to go about it. Although it’s been a mess on most levels, I do agree with the safeguarding side of it (speaking from the uk) because it has been extensively proven that modern pornography is bad, especially for developing minds. I hope that people are able to detach this matter from dogmatic conservatism, religion and the poorly made laws, because it is a serious issue no matter your political standpoint.

I want to say that I've read many visual novels on this site and a lot of them are as i expect them to be... predictable characters and stories.
Reading dawn chorus it wasn't what I though it was. when I looked at the characters at first glance I though I already knew how they will behave. since the characters have hidden personalities I felt compelled and interested to see more of who they really are.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, this is really a work of art, and I can't wait to see more.
Omg, I loved Bjorn's new update so much, its kind of crazy how much I relate to him. But does anyone know when Rune's next update is planned? He's by far my favorite character

I LOVED IT, I REALLY LOVED IT, BJØRN MY FAVORITE CHARACTER I LOVE HIM, one of my favorite stories, I really felt a connection with the character that felt like it was pain and love, too realistic, Bjørn's concern for his parents, his self-discovery, his place of origin, his shyness and his tastes are something that left me in love, this is the update I was waiting for 😭🙏

i spend 3 HOURS trying to get the klaus route but i can,t can,t find it somewone please tell me how to get it

1. Get a coat on day 1(either talk to Rune before losing the key, or ask Devon for help when you lost it)
2. Do the Klaus event when given chance on the first day. Make sure you talk to him and follow him all the way into the woods.
3. After that follow...
3.a) the Bjorn route, in which case just wait till you get a chance to chase after Klaus into the woods again.
3.b) the Devon route, in which case don't help him with telescopes and talk to Klaus in the cafeteria

renpy games will try to save to your internal ssd under the %appdata% area in roaming just like with minecraft and other programs
