there are 8 main routes, so it may be too long to complete them all for u rn. however, u can play one or a few routes instead and come back later. id say that ur first route might take like 7 or 8 hours. a full playthrough could maybe take a bit under 40 hours. trust me, the game is so so worth it
I've replayed the whole game and all the routes again with the new sprites and my god I love the new ones so much!! However, I do miss some of the old sprites like Devon and Lake but mainly because they were facing forward.
The old sprites made me feel like they were facing towards me whenever they talked to me. It made me feel a lot closer to them just talking to them face to face. I think it'd be nice if there will be forward facing sprites for all the characters in the future but that's just my opinion!
Overall I really love the new sprites! Especially Devon, Bjorn and Miko! They're so handsome and cute hehe..

anyone know the title of the song played when Rune took mushroom? It says it’s from boards of canada, but I’ve been throught a lot of them and still didn’t find it
If this is after the scene where he gets high and wanders into the forest then yes, he removes his clothes while doing that, and those two rescue him instead of you in a route where you're not romancing Rune

that occurs in every route. arvo already heard about rune and had seen him around the faculty, so he had sth like a "secret interest" in the guy before this story even takes place. however, rune knew nothing about arvo's existence until they met in the game
me and my boyfriend are currently playing through this and voicing the characters, the story is amazing, and so are the visuals!! if this ever comes out on steam, i'm buying it!

Lol. I'm doing both just to see the differences, but my true choice is the let it be. I just feel like it's what he needs as a character. For arvo to be there for him in a non pressured way where he doesn't feel like he has to hightail it on out of there.
He really is a great character. It remains to be seen. I'm excited to see the differences between both branches.
Interesting take! This is why I'm doing both, because Devon is a tricky character. I'm not sure which one is going to help him the most and which one is going to push him away further. My worry is that the getting involved will cause him to run away seeing as he hasn't even made the decision yet.
Personally, I think that the not interfere option is the way to go just based on what we know about Devon and his back story, but I suppose we'll see in the coming updates. Thanks for your response!

Everything about this VN is perfect, charming and clean sprites, gorgeous art for the scenes, chill northern vibes for the backgrounds and soundtrack, and characters written so well, all of them feel so unique and with each their charms. Also it renowned my interest in potentially moving to a Nordic Country that I used to have when I was younger. Loved it <3

probably one of my favorite visual novels of all time. a whole lot to offer, and incredible artwork. i have one of the background pieces as my wallpaper currently. the writing is expert level, just so professionally done. i can not express enough how great this is. the characters are so in-depth, and there's so many good story arcs throughout it. especially the part with Jorgen and his parents. that was such an amazing scene. all of it was just so immersive and well written. i would 100% subscribe to the patreon if i had the money. definitely worth the play for anyone considering buying it. not as spicy as i expected, but just spicy enough where it adds plenty of depth to the game. im super happy with this game and cant wait for the updates that are to come out. great job to the devs. truly impressed.
Oddly enough in jørgen route you can find Klaus messing around with some project in the empty art exhibition hall, so the devs may have some of the script for his day 3 done already.
My guess is that since his route is parallel to the others (like Klaus' wooden hut scene being parallel to the game night) it makes sense to update his route when the others' are already out.
Hopefully we get an update when more characters get day 3
Considering the writing of that scene the dialogues might play just pretty much the same, only with Arvo tagging along Klaus instead of Jørgen, and prob Jørgen warning Arvo about Klaus being a bit of a psycho (not that it needed any more confirmation)
For devons update, the text boxes are over lapping as well as sentences being completely unreasonable. The app actually crashed while I was typing this so great? This is occuring on the android version of the app.
Just a question, how many days are there going to be per character? I've finished Mikko's and Rune's route and Mikko's didn't feel complete but Rune's did? I'm just a little confused and hoping for more Rune :) Also is there a roadmap?
I've been a fan of the game for a while, thank you for all the work you put into it! To stick with it so long and to have so much consideration put into it truly shows your dedication!
Since I'm from Ohio, I felt like I needed to bring a mispelling to your attention; it should be Lake Erie. Also as someone from Ohio, I want to add that I appreciate Devon's story since it's so like many of who us try to get as far away from it as possible at some point, even if a lot of us end up going back. (Including the biggest number of astronauts that come from the same state, as a matter of fact!)

here! (copypasted from rickalick)
1. Get a coat on day 1(either talk to Rune before losing the key, or ask Devon for help when you lost it)
2. Do the Klaus event when given chance on the first day. Make sure you talk to him and follow him all the way into the woods.
3. After that follow...
3.a) the Bjorn route, in which case just wait till you get a chance to chase after Klaus into the woods again.
3.b) the Devon route, in which case don't help him with telescopes and talk to Klaus in the cafeteria.
Was this supposed to happen, because it DID NOT happen on mikko and bjørn's route

in most scenes when he is looking like that the shirt disapears
