jesus christ the writing in this visual novel is immaculate. the character development and the dialogue both blew me away with how emotional and thoughtful it was. the ONLY flaw I can find is the use of cliché plot devices sometimes but it's honestly the best furry visual novel I've seen thus far.
I love Lake, he is so cute. Rune is handsome too, although I hope he gets to be more forward. Mikko is cute, but if you're not careful, you feel like an ass. Klaus is creepy, and I stopped the game dead in the forest when I brought Bjorn with me and clicked the wrong option
Jørgen is so sassy and cute, wow. Not sure what kind of personality he was going to have since there wasn't much of him to go off of at first but he really turned out to be even better than I hoped :>
If he's going to continue to be updated alongside Lake I'm going to seriously have a hard time deciding which one I want to play through first ahahaha
Well... he is a black panther, and he is just before his 30th birthday in game. He clarifies that in the current Patreon update, given his background the new sprite fits him better. The response to it is quite divided, with both very positive and negative voices, so we might go back and work on it some more to address the criticisms.
If he's a panther why does he have markings? Panthers don't have those only jaguars and leopards have markings panthers are plain black, which is why im confused about it.
Black panther is a name for a melanistic variant of both jaguars and leopards, and they also have spots, but on most of their bodies the fur is too dark to see them. Devon has a fairer fur than most black panthers for a reason that we will reveal later in the vn :)
This could have happened if you loaded a save created exactly during the character choice screen, a quick solution to that would be to go a few steps back from the point of character selection and then proceeded. I will look into it and try to create a hotfix, sorry for this issue!
Never gave it much thought before since my favorites are Devon, Rune and Björn, but it's painfully obvious that Lake has a massive crush on the main character/protagonist... It's adorable! :)
Sadly i really don't like the new devon character i liked him bc he was kinda rugged if thats the right word now he just seems like another teenager not a teacher i would have understood if you would make him a bitt buffer (cuz a coach) but now he seems like a teenager. 4/10 for me. The new devons carachter. The old one in my opinion was way better like 9/10.
I really love your game! Ever since I saw the first image of it, my interest piqued and I really fall in love with this VN. Interesting story with character build-ups, and not just some cheesy romance tossed randomly, actually building their relationship. I cant wait for the next update! keep up the amazing work!
This has been such a wonderful game so far! I'm absolutely enthralled with pretty much half of the cast, it's a pretty impressive feat to have so many characters and having all of them be so likeable (unlike a certain unfished VN). The setting is absolutely stunning and the writing is superb all around, whether it be for the characters, setting, or plot. The first day has been stellar and so much fun to play through. I'm looking forwards to falling more in love with the rest of the cast as much as I have with Rune, Torulf, Lake, and Devon!
Nah, but if i know well, there will be, just this game is not even finished, just started. I hope it will be a great very long game. But still, nothing can be better than Shirokoi's Repeat. But don't have to be better. Dawn Chorus and Repeat is 2 different world, so i can love DC af. :D

Standard for furry vns tend to be either pretty short (one day/a couple of days) to about a month? I'm feeling kind of lazy, but if you really want to, you could see if it mentions a length for how long the trip is going to be, otherwise I don't think we know yet.

the author says this is a wholesome and light hearted game but i was trying to get the klaus route and let me tell you it scared the shit out of me in the begining
The Klaus thing you're probably talking about was supposed to be a Halloween kind of thing, I'm not sure if he's still getting a route, but I'm sure if he is getting one it'll be less scary, albeit probably still a little spooky/eccentric given his demeanor. No other scene in the game is like that, so far.
*Only unsure about Klaus, b/c waaaaay back in some of the original builds it seemed like Travis may have had a route if enough people liked him, but alas he did not, thus he won't be getting a route, and I don't think Klaus is that popular. There's still certainly a chance though and I could very well be wrong.
Well now they updated his route, and so actually his route will be a bonus one, kinda like Half-hidden, on twitter the devs said they're going to make reaching his route harder in the future
Bjørn deserves more love~ Amazing VN overall, a very relaxing atmosphere in the story and overall plot. I hope to see Bjørn's route get expanded upon in the future, I'm a sucker for big ol' bears lol <3
Download the newest version of Dawn Chorus then install/update the app using the apk (Don't delete the past Dawn Chorus app, installing the new build will update the past Dawn Chorus app) then you can load the save file and continue where you left of.
Also, when you update it, all of the progress will be saved (e.g. photos that you hve unlocked in the gallery, texts that you have read can be skipped when using the skip feature, etc.)
I can't believe Dawn Chorus is trending to the top of #furry in quite a quick succession. It makes me glad to witness the game grow in popularity and completion. Keep it up!

I would support this game, if I had the money because I had a great time playing this demo. The writing is great, realistic and maybe even nostalgic, and my mood was perfectly captured and moved through the scenery and the accompanying music. Basically, I have seen a lot of Ren'py games, but this one is a gem-in-the-making that I am willing to share to my other gay furries, too!
The only hook on my review however is that I find my immersion distorted whenever the art snapshots (or whatever they're called) didn't entirely reflect what the characters in-game sprites would look like - like, I would look at the photo, then I would be confused, asking "Who's that?" and not realize it's supposed to be this character or that.

In addition, I find it odd that me, a gay lion boy who could afford to go to a million-dollar camping trip that has a jacuzzi, indoor gym pool, etc., would be worried about budgeting when I lost the key. I think it would be a better fit, if I were more conscious about my items or me becoming more 'absent-minded', than I am with money.

Just think about the fact MC declined when Mikko asked his to take a double room because he was uncomfortable, this would give Mikko a motive

The science camp is mostly funded by the university, that's the only reason most of the students were able to go ^^
