Just wanted to say that there were two small mistakes in v0.5.3 build that the players have found, so I fixed them and re-uploaded the build. In the meantime I deleted a handful of lines from the beginning of the game that I felt were unnecessary, so the flow feels much better now. 

If you downloaded the revised build but didn't get to play it, I recommend re-downloading it. If you already played it - well, there's no new content in the hotfix.
