Version 0.14 - Rune update
Hi all, Keo here!
I'm coming back to you with this month's update for Rune. Length-wise it's not the biggest one we've had, but the content is rather fun and I'm sure you'll like it!
In addition to the new scenes, there are some other neat things.
Foremost - I finally finished the work on the new opening sequence for the game. For a long time I felt that the opening dream sequence was the weakest point of the whole vn, and it's the first thing that you see when you start a new game, so changing it was a priority for me.
In addition to that, there's also a new sprite for Klaus, higher quality sprite for the wolf beast, a few new renders and fixes here and there.
Changelog:
- - more than 6k words of new scenes (some of it hidden behind a random question picker, so that there's some variation between playthroughs)
- new opening sequence!
- jump to route functionality is now a button on the main menu
- one new track by Lesli
- new sprite for Klaus
- small changes and fixes

Yo, how do I continue? I've already downloaded the new update (apologies if it's just me, I'm kinda stupid)
I'm not sure if you already found the answer but you have to load a safe before that message comes up I think? And it's only Rune's route that received an update?
Welp, I think it's only a Rune update, I guess you're right.
Why is everyone saying that the new update is fun is there a mini game? btw i don't know anything about the update its been a week since i played.
i checked for an update just now for shits and giggles, i didnt actually expect to see one.

Love the new update! Albeit a bit shorter than usual, the new content was definitely worth it. (Learning about Rune's frequent "me" times was definitely unexpected and funny, thanks Torulf lmaoo)
Also, I'm not sure if this is a problem on my side but the title screen has a bit of a design/layout error?
The black background behind the words has looked like this since the title screen art was updated a few months ago. Playing on android. (If this is a problem only on my side, my apologies lol)

I had so much fun with this update!
Possibly just me, but during "never have I ever" an error occurs when it's the players turn and it defaults to stealing when ignored playing on Android

This looks like memory management problems in Android, possibly. I'll try to look for a workaround and ask around, thank you for reporting and sorry this is happening for you :(
Don't worry! It's not stopped my enjoyment at all, it's a very fun update!
