Hi all, Keo here! 

It's been a while since the last update, so I thought I could tell you what's been happening over at Dawn Chorus team. With Day 2 done, I took some time off from writing updates to focus on some other things around the VN: foremost the side story I had in plans, but also some further Day 1 reworks, including writing the damned bus scene anew and refining my ideas for routes and scenes before I go forward with writing the rest of the VN.

Now, the writing for the side story is all done, and this weekend I've released a sneak peek build for our patrons: https://www.patreon.com/posts/all-lonely-v0-5-78558076. Called All The Lonely People, t's a completely standalone, self-contained VN featuring Rune and Devon, showing their first encounter and exploring them in more depth. It's about ~16k words long, so around one and a half to double the length of our usual Dawn Chorus update. It doesn't feature the illustrations yet - these are commissioned and we're waiting for them until we do a proper release. So, for now, the side story will remain a sneak peek before the v1.0 build. The full VN will be first released on Patreon, and then here a month later, as with Dawn Chorus updates. Unfortunately I don't have an estimate for when they'll be done - should be within a few months.

I took some time to go through Day 1 and fix some inconsistencies and writing issues - there isn't a lot of changes, apart from a largely rewritten intro section, but it should read nicer now. The build with these changes was uploaded about two weeks ago. Sometime soon I also may stealthily upload a build that'll feature some very minor changes to the routes, to reflect the new Ideas I got during this last month.

So, what now? I'm back to writing Dawn Chorus, starting Day 3. The next update will feature new content for multiple routes, I hope to have it ready soon!
