Hi, Keo here!
A few hours earlier than I thought, but I finished implementing everything I wanted for v0.6.4 build, so here it is! Today the fifth update to Dawn Chorus goes public. December was a busy month for the whole team and so the update is smaller than usual, at around 6k words of the new scenes, all of that is a continuation for Rune's route.
Changelog:
- Continuation for Rune's route
- Gallery implemented!
- Some new tracks by Keo (three if I remember correctly!)
- Almost all of the visual assets have been resaved in a higher resolution from the original files - that mostly means much sharper sprites when playing fullscreen
- All of the visual assets were converted to .webp, resulting in a huge reduction in size - the game now weights more than 25% less!
- New CG with Rune by hq

I love this game, its Romantic and funny, but when I started seeing rune more often I started to blush myself, because he is soo good looking, for a deer and he is so muscular. ;)
Ohh mai ghad the cliffhanger, I thought and expecting the new cg will be rune and arvo gonna hug in the bed sleeping. seems my predictions was wrong haha.
I'm really loving this game. Just a note about the new update 0.6.4 for mac. You will need to uninstall and reinstall the game. Otherwise you will get an exception error for missing sprites that prevents you from continuing to play the game. At least this was my experience. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game fixed it though.
Rune is such a good character. I absolutely adore him and the new CG made me squeak with happiness, not going to lie. I know it will probably be a bit before you get back to Rune if you go character by character each update but even if so I'm really looking forward to seeing where his route goes because so far I am completely engaged in it. :)
